We Want You To Live A Healthier Life

Today marks 48 years since the first official Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970 when “millions of people took to the streets to protest the negative impacts of 150 years of industrial development.” The global ecological awareness was growing, and the US Congress and President Nixon responded quickly and created the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The Romabio founders also had a concern with the toxic evolution of products and their effect on the environment. They had a vision to create clean and healthy paints that would do no harm. That’s why we love to see it when our customers feel like they can use our products that are safe for them, and for the environment.

We recently met the Lynam family on Instagram. Mr. Lynam has been working hard to transform a new house into a home for his young family. Using Romabio products meant he could paint bedrooms during his wife’s pregnancy, and continue renovation now that their baby has arrived.

“Our fireplace is limewashed. We replaced the paneling with Sheetrock, used #Romabio interior paint in Rhinestone on the walls and Classico Limewash in Avorio White on the very dark, very dated rock fireplace and mantle. We now like our fireplace. The limewash was easy to use and the best part is the zero VOC so we could paint without fear of chemicals around our newborn baby.” -M.
