This morning the winners of the annual E3 awards were announced. Each year, the Metro Atlanta Chamber honors individuals, organizations and companies “who work to conserve natural resources, develop clean technologies, support sustainable initiatives and collaborate on solutions through university connections” according to Jessica Saunders of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. ROMA entered the 2014 E3 contest in the category of “New Venture”. While we din’t win the contest, we were a finalist and received some great exposure at the awards breakfast.
An E3 Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dieter Franz and the Trident Award was presented to Gary Coltek, Kennesaw State University’s senior director of Culinary and Hospitality Services. The rest of the categories were Liquid Assets, New Venture, Built Environment, Community Strong, Clean Tech Innovation and Measuring Impact.
You can read more about the E3 winners in today’s issue of the Atlanta Business Chronicle. ROMA would like to congratulate the winners.
