Classico Limewash – A Light Hued, Historic Wash
- One of the biggest differences between these two products is Classico Limewash is available in only light to medium colors. Beautiful whites, taupes, and warm neutrals that enhance your stone’s appearance.
- Classico Limewash is a slaked-lime paint that allows you to distress and color shift the stone.
- This paint creates a traditional “lime wash stone effect”, with subtle movement, and color that will patina over time based on weather exposure.
- It’s also a no-stress application that’s removable for up to 2 days, allowing you to test the color or colors before applying it fully.
- It’s easy-to-use, just a 1-coat paint process with no additional primer required.

Venetian Glaze Over Stone – Highland Park Painting

- It is an Italian slaked lime glaze paint that’s heavily diluted for absorbent stone applications and creates a more durable finish than Classico Limewash®.
- Venetian Glaze adds sophistication without hiding the underlying stone texture, it’s also a versatile paint that can be used in both interior and exterior surfaces, allowing you to bring the same shades into your home.
- It’s easy-to-use, a 1-coat paint process on interior/exterior stone with no additional primer required (please note: interior application for drywall differs from stone application).
