I recently read an article in Sunset Magazine about different ways to green your bathroom. Using chemical free cleaning and bath products as well as using organic towels and washcloths are just a few ways to tackle it. We feel like a key product was left out: paint. The room with, likely, the most moisture in your entire home can be a breeding ground for mold and mildew. ROMA paints are made with potassium silicate which is naturally mold resistant, therefore preventing mold and mildew from forming in and on your bathroom walls. Mineral based paints in addition to chemical free products are the best recipe for a healthy bathroom.
