We are ready to deck the halls and loving all your holiday decor posts coming through our feeds.
Today, we’re sharing the creative ways that Romabio brand ambassadors, Lauren and Robert Shaver, of the popular DIY blog and social media feed brand @blesserhouse have used our paints on the Exterior and Interior of their home.
We are excited because their holiday decor is featured in the Better Homes & Gardens – Christmas Ideas, 2022 issue – on stands now!
The gorgeous 8-page spread also includes their newly painted dining room (ready for a holiday dinner), a playroom refresh with Christmas decorations galore, and their daughter’s whimsical bedroom where Lauren used Low Lustre Interior/Exterior in Barefoot Dance on the ceiling!
Romabio ticks all my preferred paint boxes along with being hypo-allergenic, zero VOC, and creating luminous colors. In all of my color reveal posts I’ve used their Low Lustre Interior/Exterior product, which provides the perfect paint for any color and is safe for people, pets, and the environment.

Dining Room: Low Lustre Interior/Exterior
in Blue Ridge Parkway
Blue Ridge Parkway is inspired by the deep blues of the Carolina Appalachian skyline – a rich, moody navy that is classic yet daring. This color is a great choice for dining rooms and bedrooms alike, and as seen in Better Homes & Gardens, the perfect backdrop for holiday décor! Lauren wanted a bold dining room and chose Low Lustre Interior/Exterior in Blue Ridge Parkway not just because it’s her own Romabio curated color but for the timeless look it gives her family gathering spot.
Mantle: Low Lustre Interior/Exterior
in Carolina Sky
Fireplace: Classico Limewash in Avorio White
Reminiscent of Southern porches with haint blue ceilings, Carolina Sky is a homage to the beautiful, soft, coastal blues of the Carolinas. This Romabio color is perfectly at home on this fireplace mantle paired with distressed bricks in Classico Limewash in Avorio White. Low Lustre Interior/Exterior in Carolina Sky adds a youthful and dream-like component to the playroom’s holiday concept.
Bedroom Ceiling: Low Lustre Interior/Exterior in Barefoot Dance
Barefoot Dance was curated to be a soft and whimsical color reminiscent of tiny ballet slippers. The pink is equally perfect for a child’s space, or as a modern and welcoming color, ideal for adding a touch of bohemian chic to any room. Lauren chose Low Lustre Interior/Exterior in Barefoot Dance as the crowning hue for the ceiling of her daughter’s bedroom, which as you can see in the magazine, brought a sugar plum fairy vibe to the holiday theme.
Robert and Lauren Shaver await Christmas like, well, two little kids waiting for Christmas. Last April – months before anyone else is even thinking about trimming trees – Robert texted his buddy to say that Christmas was only 257 days away.

Her fireplace posts are time and again popular because of her classic, clean and simple design.
